Jyoti, a young girl from Nepal, grew up in a difficult environment after losing the care and support she needed at home. Seeking a better future, she left home at a young age and eventually moved to Karnataka after her marriage.

Life soon became uncertain when she found herself alone, without a way to contact her family or access support. During this vulnerable period, she was identified by child protection authorities and placed in a safe environment. As her situation was assessed, social workers recognized that she required continued care and protection.

Through coordinated efforts with relevant authorities, Jyoti was provided with safe accommodation, counselling, and regular support. During this time, she was also expecting a child and required additional care. Social workers ensured that she received timely medical attention, monitored her well-being, and helped her access the services she needed throughout her pregnancy.

In the months that followed, Jyoti welcomed a baby girl and continued receiving support to help her navigate the challenges of young motherhood. Today, both mother and child are living in a safer environment and have access to ongoing care and guidance.
